Painted in the early 1600s, Fede Galizia’s luminous still life brings warmth, abundance, and an old-world glow to the Solstice mockups. Galizia was a pioneering Italian painter whose early still lifes helped define the genre and earned her a rare place in art history as one of its first celebrated women artists.
