I had the privilege of guiding the transformation of Charlie Henderson Coaching's brand identity, a journey that paralleled our mutual growth in the realms of professionalism and personal insight. Our collaboration began four years ago when our paths initially crossed (thanks to a Facebook group, what?!) as Charlie was completing their certification and I was taking my first steps into professional brand design. This collaboration was not just about creating a brand; it was about growing alongside each other.

Over the years, as Charlie refined their intimacy + empowerment coaching methodology and gained a deeper understanding of their audience, it became evident that their brand identity, website, and portrait photography needed to evolve. This evolution wasn't just about aesthetics but about aligning the brand with Charlie's expanded insights and the unique value they offer the world.

In this renewed phase of our collaboration, our focus was to craft a brand identity that resonated with Charlie's heightened awareness and their commitment to empowering Women, Non-Binary, Queer, and Trans individuals. The goal was to create a brand that embodied qualities of being approachable, inspiring, supportive, and deeply human, mirroring the essence of Charlie’s transformative coaching. We aimed for a brand design that felt like an editorial curation blended with natural rawness, creating a modern, classic, authentic, and engaging aesthetic. This blend also adds an element of mystery in order to captivate the audience and invite them to explore deeper.

The project included developing a cohesive yet varied typography family – a strong sans-serif for impact, a classical serif for softness, and a contemporary transitional font embodying professionalism and trust. The color palette is intentionally chosen to evoke a sense of calm and depth, featuring black, cream, grey, dark teal, and an electric blue.

In designing the logo suite for Charlie Henderson Coaching, our focus was on versatility to match the broad spectrum of their clientele. The suite encompasses a range of styles, from sophisticated and professional to playful and accessible.

For the sophisticated aspect, we crafted logos that exude a refined and serious tone. These are tailored to appeal to clients who value professionalism and high-quality experiences in their personal growth journey.

On the playful side, the logos are designed to be more approachable and inclusive. This style is intended to resonate with clients seeking accessible and impactful coaching, emphasizing the welcoming and diverse nature of Charlie’s services.

The assorted logo suite is crafted to align with the diverse preferences and needs of Charlie's clientele, assuring that every aspect of the brand identity is engaging and relevant to all who encounter it.

The website was designed to be an extension of Charlie's brand identity. It’s a space where visitors feel welcomed and inspired. The development focused on creating an intuitive user experience, where each element of Charlie's service is easily accessible and resonates with the core values of their coaching.

For Charlie's photoshoot, we aimed for a vibe that was both empowering and true to their brand's new direction. The photoshoot was all about capturing Charlie's authenticity and the essence of their journey. The result? A set of photographs that are not only visually striking but also a powerful echo of Charlie's personal and brand journey. These images are more than just pictures; they're a testament to the synergy between Charlie’s essence and the brand we've built together.

From our first collaboration to this remarkable rebranding, my experience with Charlie has been nothing short of inspiring. It's been a path filled with empowerment, deepening friendship, and abundant creativity. This updated branding isn't just about aesthetics; it's a vivid portrayal of Charlie's remarkable path and their transformative impact on their clients.
